Gregory Ko is a partner at Kastner Ko LLP, with expertise in employment law, human rights, administrative and constitutional law, and civil litigation. 

Greg represents clients in workplace disputes at all levels of court in Ontario, advancing litigation in wrongful dismissal, harassment, and human rights claims. In professional discipline matters, he acts for regulators and regulated professionals.

Greg has an extensive public interest litigation practice, with a focus on constitutional law, administrative law, and LGBTQ rights. He also acts as an independent investigator in highly sensitive matters for a wide range of organizations, including universities, hospitals, and not-for-profits organizations.

As an adjunct professor, Greg teaches at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in the areas of employment law and legal ethics. He served as Chair of the OBA’s Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Caucus (SOGIC), and Chair of the Chinese and Southeast Asian Legal Clinic.

Greg was recognized as a Precedent Setter by Precedent Magazine in 2022, and as a Rising Star by Lexpert in 2024. He routinely provides commentary to media outlets on employment and human rights issues, including the CBC, CTV, The Toronto Star, Radio-Canada, and Le Devoir.

Greg graduated from McGill University’s Faculty of Law and holds a Master of Laws from the University of Toronto.  He practices in English and French, and speaks conversational Cantonese, Spanish, German, and Mandarin.
